Infinidocks was created to fill a void in boat dock construction. Over the years we observed and discovered a true need for a long-lasting, maintenance free dock. With a sleek, modern look an Infinidock stands apart from the common dock. We galvanize the complete structure, leaving no areas of rust penetration, giving it the longest life possible. The lower structure of the dock is constructed with truss frames bolted together to achieve the desired area by the customer. We carefully pre-design the dock to be transported down the road, which allows us to work on any lake... pond... or river. Also, with Infinidocks modular frame design it allows us to have a good portion of your dock built before you have even placed your order.
Think of our components like Lego's, we have the blocks built and just have to place them in the desired layout. This reduces the project time significantly allowing us to build immediately. Future expansion and modifications come easy with Infinidocks because the frames are bolted together, additional frames can easily be added or taken away to achieve a new design or take out frames for slips.. We will retain your design to make any future modification painless.
We love upper decks! The lower frames can easily be adapted for column placement. Our unique column design adds significant structural integrity as well as no rust points at the connections. With our custom aluminum decking, InfiniDeck serves as a combination roof and floor deck. Go to our Products & Services page to see the benefits of this decking system.
Three reasons: strength, cost, and weight. Aluminum has two advantages over steel, it does not rust and it is lighter. We prevent premature rusting by galvanizing all of our components. Hot dip galvanizing creates a protection on steel that rivals the life of aluminum. Aluminum is lighter but is not a benefit when designing a dock. A certain weight in proportion to the size minimizes movement in the water and creates a more comfortable experience. The use of steel columns and beams also creates more free space and it doesn't clutter your deck with obstructions. Note our dock gallery for these observations. Steel has 2.5 times the density of aluminum, therefore significantly increasing the rigidity of your structure . Lastly it comes down to dollars. The costs per pound of steel is always cheaper than aluminum, even with fluctuating markets!
Sure aluminum is good, maybe not the best for your structure but it is a great alternative for decking. Aluminum does not contain iron, nor does it absorb water therefore it will not rust, rot, or crack. It is not susceptible to termites or pest infestation. While decks made of traditional products require regular scraping, sanding, painting and sealing, aluminum maintains its color and appearance for a lifetime. You do not need any special cleaners, nor any sealants or stains to maintain the beauty of your outdoor space. Aluminum decking is truly maintenance-free, giving you the gift of carefree time in your outdoor space.
Our decking can be colored via a powder coating process with multiple options. Our powder coatings provide a durable finish, uniform color and bonding capabilities, In almost all cases, powder coating performs better than tradition paint or solvent-based coatings.
Aluminum is one of the safest materials for building an outdoor living space. Due to its metallic properties, aluminum is non-combustible and will not emit any toxic fumes when exposed to high temperatures. In the unfortunate case of a fire on your property, your aluminum decking is fireproof - adding peace of mind and safety for your structure.
Now more than ever, homeowners are placing an increased priority on choosing home products that are environmentally responsible and sustainable. Aluminum-based materials are the answer. The metallic properties of aluminum allow it to be recycled efficiently and incorporated into decking products with minimal environmental effects. Its metallic properties also facilitate powder coatings, another environmentally sound choice for home products.
